Publication Ethics

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Inspiration Indonesia (JMII) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are expected to uphold ethical standards throughout the editorial and publication process.

Authors' Responsibilities

Submit original and authentic research.
Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification.
Ensure the manuscript is not under review or published elsewhere.
Properly acknowledge all sources.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Correct significant errors if discovered after publication.

Editors' Responsibilities

Evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively.
Maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial process.
Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit.
Avoid conflicts of interest.
Take appropriate action regarding ethical concerns.

Reviewers' Responsibilities

Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews.
Maintain manuscript confidentiality.
Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
Report suspected ethical misconduct.
Decline reviews when conflicts of interest exist.

Publisher's Responsibilities

Support editorial independence.
Maintain the integrity of the academic record.
Ensure ethical publishing practices.
Address allegations of publication misconduct appropriately.

Research Misconduct

JMII does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, or any other form of academic misconduct. Proven violations may result in manuscript rejection, article retraction, and notification to the authors' affiliated institutions when necessary.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the objectivity of the publication process.

Ethical Oversight

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and obtain approval from the appropriate ethics committee where required.
